About

I started my interest in motorsport photography by spectating and photographing UK rallies at an early age. This included spending 4 or 5 days following the RAC Rally each year in my MGBGT travelling around the country. As well as this, I began to visit the main UK circuits taking photos of GT events and travelling to LeMans when I could. My son started competing in karting and later rallying, so I charted his progression with my camera having some of my images published in local newspapers and rally magazines.

To further improve my photography I attended night school for four years and completed eight City and Guild photography modules, passing 6 with distinction. This has also given me a Level 2 NVQ in Photography. The quote below by Karl Lagerfeld, encapsulates for me what photography is all about:

“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.” – Karl Lagerfeld

With an early interest in IT and art, photography became one of my main passions. As you can see, I have a very keen interest in motorsport photography, especially covering rallying, trials and circuit racing. I’m very proficient in using editing software, paying special attention to detail, creativity and design of each image. I believe this contributes to producing eye-catching images for print and digital media.

What separates my motorsport work from others, is that I believe I focus on the action and have the ability to be in the right place at the right time. I continue to listen to clients visions and preferences to improve my photographic and editing skills.

I hope you enjoy looking my website and many more of my motorsport photos can be found on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
